WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has commented on the presence of TNA Wrestling at Royal Rumble 2024.
Saturday’s (January 27) premium live event featured the surprise WWE debut of current TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace.
The TNA star had a fair showing in the bout, competing for 19 minutes before getting eliminated by former women’s champion Bianca Belair.
While this was the second occasion that the TNA Knockouts Champion competed in that year’s WWE Royal Rumble bout, with Mickie James returning in the 2022 match, Grace’s appearance shocked many as she had never wrestled for WWE before her Rumble debut.
Another star who has also wrestled for both WWE and TNA is Kurt Angle, who was a top name in TNA for a decade following his debut for the promotion in 2006.
Angle has taken to Twitter to note that it was awesome to see WWE and TNA working together, writing:
How awesome was it to see TNA in the WWE building? That’s why you never say never in the business. Pretty damn cool

Triple H recently commented on WWE’s interpromotional relationships, throwing shade on the term ‘forbidden door’ in the process.
