Backstage details have emerged on TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace competing at the WWE Royal Rumble premium live event.
Grace competed in the women’s Royal Rumble match on January 27, entering the bout in the #5 spot.
The TNA star competed in the WWE match for 19 minutes, before she was eliminated by Bianca Belair.
Per Fightful Select, WWE reached out to a number of outside companies about potential surprise entrants for the Royal Rumble matches.
WWE reportedly reached out to TNA in the weekend before the premium live event, and everything regarding Grace’s appearance went through TNA, who Grace is still signed with.
Fightful noted that Grace had physical and blood tests on Monday (January 22), ahead of Royal Rumble rehearsals in Florida on Thursday (January 25), which she participated in.
The report also noted that WWE sources stated that Jordynne Grace and TNA were both easy to work.
