WWE NXT star Dijak has commented on his first main roster run, believing that a recent in-match moment represented his stint with Retribution.
Dijak is currently establishing himself as a star on the NXT brand, during his second run with the gold brand.
He most recently wrestled at Sunday’s (February 4) NXT Vengeance Day premium live event, defeating Joe Gacy in a No Disqualification match.
Dijak has now shared a photo from the match showing himself ripping tape from around his neck and his eyes in front of the WrestleMania sign.
Pointing out the irony, Dijak tweeted:
There’s ironically some very deep symbolism in this picture about my first main roster run lol
Dijak made his main roster debut in 2020 as part of the infamous Retribution faction.
The stable disbanded at Fastlane 2021, with Mace Dijak, as “T-Bar” attacking group leader Mustafa Ali.
“T-Bar” remained on the main roster until October 2022, when he returned to NXT.
Dijak has never competed at WrestleMania, but did wrestle in the 2021 and 2022 Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal matches, which both took place on go-home editions of SmackDown.
The NXT star has also shown off a nasty wound he suffered at Vengeance Day 2024, which you can read more about right here.
