Carmelo Hayes has shared a savage response to his betrayal of Trick Williams at NXT Vengeance Day ahead of tonight’s show.
Last weekend’s NXT Vengeance Day event ended with a shocking betrayal, as Carmelo Hayes took out Trick Williams after his NXT Championship match against Ilja Dragunov.
Hayes had been speculated as the assailant behind the attack on Williams back in October on NXT, which took him out of a four-way contender’s match for the NXT Championship.
Hayes’ betrayal of Williams seemingly confirmed everyone’s suspicions that he was the culprit behind the attack, and Hayes has now shared a savage response to the attack.
Taking to Twitter, Hayes shared a black and white photo of him and Trick from the show, with the word ‘WHOOPED’ over the top in the same font as the Grand Theft Auto ‘WASTED’ screen.
He captioned the image:
Woke up today and chose to be undeniable.
Hayes is set to explain his attack on Williams on tonight’s episode of NXT.
Hayes has been making appearances on the SmackDown brand in recent weeks alongside his appearances on NXT.
Hayes also appeared in this year’s Royal Rumble match, entering at number five.
