Former WWE stars Timothy Thatcher and Axel Tischer are set for a singles match during WrestleMania 40 weekend in Philadelphia.
WrestleMania week has become a hub for multiple wrestling promotions to showcase some all-star cards, especially Game Changer Wrestling.
During the pandemic, GCW introduced “The Collective,” which is an entire week of events from different promotions that work around WrestleMania wekeend.
One of the standout shows of “The Collective” has been Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport. This year’s event will mark the 10th edition of the show.
On February 16, Josh Barnett announced that former WWE stars Timothy Thatcher and Axel Tischer will go one-on-one in a fight on the Bloodsport X card on Thursday, April 4. The post reads:
These men have history.
Met in the ring as opponents in WXW
Trained together
Traveled together
They know how the other ticks; how they think and feel. What makes them strong and what their weaknesses are.
But this time they meet each other under new circumstances. One that will push them into a place together more dire and destructive than ever before, that in the end will see only ONE emerge victorious and neither ever the same again.
