Grayson Waller has fired shots at Cody Rhodes ahead of their face-to-face at WWE Elimination Chamber 2024.
As announced last week, both the 2024 Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes, as well as World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins will be making an appearance in Perth, Australia – as guests on the Grayson Waller Effect talk show.
On SmackDown, Waller was shown talking to The Bloodline’s Paul Heyman, so it remains to be seen what the Aussie Icon has in store for Rhodes and Rollins, however, in typical Waller fashion he’s saw fit to do a bit of trolling online beforehand.
Posting to Twitter, Waller had a dig at Rhodes and his failure to ‘finish his story’ thus far, saying:
Halfway to Perth and already finished my book.
At least someone in WWE can finish a story
This is not the first time Rhodes has featured on the Grayson Waller Effect live at a WWE Premium Live Event, having also done so at Payback 2023 – in which The American Nightmare brought Jey Uso to Monday Night Raw.
As of right now, Waller and Rhea Ripley are the only Aussie stars to be appearing at Elimination Chamber, with Bronson Reed losing his Elimination Chamber qualifier to Bobby Lashley on Raw last week.
There is a chance Ripley and Waller could potentially be joined by Indi Hartwell however, with the former NXT Women’s Champion set to compete in a last chance battle royal for the final Elimination Chamber spot on Raw.
Ahead of the match Hartwell posted a disgruntled message directed at Raw GM Adam Pearce, follow this link for full details.
