Ex-WWE star Mercedes Mone (Sasha Banks) has commented on her potential return to WWE, despite her upcoming AEW debut.
Banks last wrestled for WWE in May 2022, before walking out on a Raw taping with Naomi.
This marked both stars’ last appearances for the company prior to their departures, with Mone making her wrestling return for NJPW at Wrestle Kingdom 17 in January 2023, and Naomi joining TNA in May 2023.
While Naomi has since returned to WWE, Mone’s future with WWE is currently on hold as she is soon to debut for AEW.
Speaking on the Kick Rocks podcast, the former Sasha Banks noted that she believes that she will return to WWE one day, noting:
“I know I’m gonna be back there one day. Okay? So it’s not over.
“Like I said, I have a lot of unfinished business in wrestling, in a lot of places.”
This line was edited out of the full podcast, but was still present in a separate clip that was posted.
You can see the clip below.
Mercedes Mone is expected to debut for AEW at the ‘Big Business’ episode of Dynamite on March 13.
We will continue to provide updates on the status of the former Sasha Banks as they become available.
