Former AEW World Tag Team Champion Sting has reflected on teaming with Darby Allin following AEW Revolution 2024.
At AEW Revolution, Sting and Darby Allin defeated Matthew and Nicholas Jackson of The Young Bucks to retain the AEW World Tag Team Championships in what was Sting’s Last Match.
“The Stinger” ends his run with an undefeated 29-0 record in the promotion and 30-0 overall, including his one match in Pro Wrestling NOAH.
On March 10, Sting took to social media to post some photos of himself and Darby from their run as a tag team in All Elite Wrestling. The caption reads:
Best tag-team partner I ever had. Thank you, @DarbyAllin!
A change made to Sting’s special entrance with his sons from AEW Revolution has been revealed, which you can read here.
Darby Allin will look to rebound from Sting’s retirement when he faces “Switchblade” Jay White on the March 13 AEW Big Business special of Dynamite.
