Recently, WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry made a statement that Kairi Sane wasn’t respecting the wrestling business at WrestleMania 40.
The comments were made concerning Sane spending a few extra seconds in the ring while Naomi, Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair were making their entrance for WrestleMania, instead of leaving and giving them the ring immediately.
The comments were made on Busted Open Radio and shared on Henry’s Instagram account – he said:
“Bully [Ray] and Tommy [Dreamer] both going to understand this when I say this.
“I’m saying if I was a girl and I was in that match and I get my entrance and I come in the ring and I wipe my feet and I stand in, step into the ring, and Kairi Sane’s ass is still walking in the ring, I’m taking her head off.
“Give me the f**king ring. I’m the guy. She should have got out the f**king ring. I was so mad.
“You got to respect the business first. And she didn’t, but she would if I would have been in the ring.”
Since the comments emerged, WWE star Dakota Kai was among those offering her support, tweeting:
“I love and respect Kairi Sane/Hojo and she loves and respects this business.”
Sane, herself, would also respond, tweeting the following message:
“I love and respect you too🥰
“Thank you for everything.”
Belair, Naomi and Cargill would win the WrestleMania 40 match on April 6, as can be seen in the highlights below this news story.
