A major update has emerged on the status of a new international WWE signing who is set to join the company.
Over WrestleMania weekend earlier this month, it became very clear that former STARDOM star Giulia is on her way to WWE.
Giulia was present at WrestleMania weekend events and was even highlighted and shown on-screen during NXT Stand & Deliver.
It was always the belief, going back months, that before Giulia would actually join WWE, she’d be staying in Japan a little longer.
This would be to help out former STARDOM booker Rossy Ogawa with his new promotion after his own departure from STARDOM.
Giulia is loyal to Ogawa – who was also with her at WrestleMania weekend – and gave her word she’d help him get the new promotion up and running before she fully moved to WWE.
Well, that time has come and Ogawa today announced the launch of new company Dream Star Fighting Marigold, or for short, Marigold.
Giulia was part of the press conference where the announcement was made, confirming her involvement.
The first show, Marigold Fields Forever, will take place on May 20 and will feature Giulia and a tag team partner taking on former WWE NXT star Sareee (Sarray) and a tag partner of her own.
We’ll keep you posted with any further news on the timeline for when Giulia could fully make her way to WWE.
The belief is that she’ll start in NXT, hence her being shown at Stand & Deliver.
