A top WWE signing has publicly addressed their involvement in a brand new wrestling company.
After months of reports, it was finally confirmed over WrestleMania 40 weekend that former STARDOM star Giulia had signed with WWE and would likely begin on the NXT brand.
Before that however, she would return to Japan to fulfil her remaining dates, which included one final STARDOM match on April 12 and a first-ever match for Pro Wrestling NOAH at their Wrestle Universe show on May 4.
As well as these, Giulia was also long reported to be assisting STARDOM founder Rossy Ogawa in starting up his brand new promotion, following his exit in February.
After much speculation, details of Ogawa’s promotion would officially be revealed – being known as Dream Star Fighting Marigold – or Marigold for short.
Giulia has now addressed her involvement in the company after being revealed as one of the featured stars of Marigold.
Taking to Twitter, Giulia posted a picture of herself along with other Marigold competitors, along with the caption:
The beginning!
Everything will be okay.
#MARIGOLD
The first show, Marigold Fields Forever, will take place on May 20 and will feature Giulia and a tag team partner taking on former WWE NXT star Sareee (Sarray) and a tag partner of her own.
We’ll keep you posted with any further news on the timeline for when Giulia could fully make her way to WWE.
