10. Triple H vs. Sheamus – WrestleMania 26
Triple H had a run from WrestleMania 18-25 of being featured in strictly championship encounters.
By the time WrestleMania 26 came around, he found himself targeted by a young upstart who had skyrocketed up the card in a year.
Sheamus debuted on Raw in the fall of 2009 and ended the year as WWE Champion. Thanks to The Game, the Celtic Warrior lost his title inside the Elimination Chamber and was looking for revenge.
The two men had a bruising bout where Sheamus dominating for the most part. He used his strength to batter Triple H for the majority of the contest.
The Game was savvy enough to wait for his opening and hit the Pedigree to win in the end. This was a perfectly solid match on a somewhat middle-of-the-road Mania.
