7. Is Daniel Bryan A Masochist Now?
The absolute best part of the Daniel Bryan heel turn, as far as I’m concerned, is the madman-style smile that he’s produced from out of nowhere. Don’t get me wrong, the turn was sudden and could have had a longer build, but that just emphasizes my love of that smile. That psychotic smile was what really sold the turn. It made him seem crazed and broken.
Then, there was Survivor Series. After being beaten down by Brock Lesnar, the camera caught Bryan smiling while laying in a heap as if he had enjoyed the whole thing. Turns out that Bryan is actually a master of non-verbal communication. Who knew?
