5 best Oceanic wrestlers NOT in WWE

3. Tenille Dashwood

Tenille Dashwood – formerly known as Emma in WWE – is from Melbourne, Australia.

She had a really solid run in the early days of NXT. Cute and bubbly,  Dashwood danced her way to the ring, and the crowd loved her. She came to the main roster pre-Women’s Evolution, and got saddled with working with Santino. Vince McMahon didn’t know what to do with her.

There were a few attempts at repackaging her that never took off. Anybody remember those Emmalina video packages? Yes? Well, you certainly won’t remember her wrestling at Emmalina.

After a decent match with Asuka – speaking of blown NXT call-ups – at TLC 2017, Emma was released from WWE and entered the independent scene.

Now, it’s all about her in Ring of Honor, where she’s wrestling in the women’s division – Women of Honor, and just this past weekend she came up short in challenging for the Women of Honor Championship.

Even though she didn’t win, Tenille is carrying herself like a star in ROH. She gets great reactions from the fans. Unfortunately, it looks like she’s going to be out injured for a while. Talk about bad luck.
