AEW
On Sunday, July 26, AEW heads to Montreal, Quebec, Canada for the Redemption 2026 pay-per-view.
This show will serve as the last major event ahead of AEW All In London 2026 and will have a great amount of ramifications towards the huge Wembley Stadium event.
With just over a month remaining before All In, Redemption could have some notable returns that has a ripple effect on the entire landscape of the promotion moving forward.
Here are seven potential returns at AEW Redemption 2026.
7. Buddy Matthews

Buddy Matthews has not competed since last year’s Grand Slam Australia event
Back in February 2025, Buddy Matthews suffered a serious ankle injury in a match with Kazuchika Okada that has kept him sidelined for well over a year.
The former House of Black member has given a variety of updates over the past year and recently teased his potential return.
Considering his in-ring ability and look, Matthews has been a missed individual on the AEW roster in a major way.
Making his return for the first time in over a year, Matthews could reestablish himself in the company by making his presence felt at the upcoming AEW Redemption 2026 pay-per-view.
6. Nyla Rose

While most of the stars on this list are those who have been injured and off of television, there are others who have just not been featured on AEW television due to inactivity.
One of those names who have not been highlighted on the company’s programming in many months is Nyla Rose.
Despite her inactivity on AEW TV, Rose has competed inside the squared circle for different independent promotions this year like Game Changer Wrestling and Pro Wrestling: EVE.
The former AEW Women’s World Champion making her return could legitimately bolster the ranks of the women’s scene heading into All In London 2026.
5. Hologram

At the tailend of 2025, it was revealed that Hologram sustained a knee injury that would likely sideline him until the end of 2026.
Considering the year is going by fast, fans could see the masked star make his way back to All Elite Wrestling a little earlier.
Hologram making his comeback to the company could see him finally rise to the very top of AEW moving forward.
With his undefeated streak and popularity, Hologram has everything it takes to be a significant addition to the roster upon his return at AEW Redemption 2026 and may have what it takes to find himself in title contention sooner rather than later.
4. Wardlow

Wardlow joined the Don Callis Family back at AEW Forbidden Door 2025, but suffered an injury during his appearance
Back at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2025, Wardlow made his return to the company to attack Swerve Strickland for the Don Callis Family.
Unfortunately, Wardlow suffered a torn pectoral muscle during his return that has had him on the shelf for nearly a year now.
The three-time TNT Champion could add a lot to the current AEW roster and might regain some of his momentum from the last time he was healthy.
Considering he joined the Don Callis Family during his last return, Wardlow might be a major acquisition for the group come AEW Redemption 2026 and help them to further progress their takeover of the entire promotion.
3. Ruby Soho

Many fans were surprised to hear Ruby Soho reveal that she was pregnant with her first child with fellow AEW star “Cool Hand” Angelo Parker.
Since then, Soho has not appeared on AEW programming in well over two years now.
At the beginning of 2026, Soho revealed some photos online of her training inside the squared circle for what many believed would be her in-ring return.
After two years on the sidelines, it should be a matter of time before Ruby Soho makes her presence felt in All Elite Wrestling and could come as soon as AEW Redemption 2026.
2. Private Party (Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen)

On the February 11 edition of AEW Dynamite, Private Party made their return to the company for the first time in over a year.
However, Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen found themselves back on the sidelines with a pair of injuries just months after their initial comeback.
While they could be out longer, AEW Redemption 2026 could see Private Party make their way back into the fold.
With all eyes pointing to AEW All In London 2026, Kassidy and Quen couldn’t pick a better time to make their return than Redemption 2026 in Montreal.
1. Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D.

Britt Baker won the inaugural AEW Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament in 2023 and held the AEW Women’s World Title for 290 days in 2021/2022.
Since November 2024, fans have not seen Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. on AEW television.
It has been well over a year since her last appearance with many fans asking when Baker would make her way back to the promotion.
Considering her importance as the first female signee for the company and as a former AEW Women’s World Champion, Baker would legitimately improve the star power in the entire women’s scene.
With how long she has been missing from television, Baker would make for a shocking arrival that could become the biggest moment at the AEW Redemption 2026 pay-per-view on July 26.
