8 Matches That Could Main Event WrestleMania 37

5. Ronda Rousey vs. Asuka

While Flair seems like the most likely opponent should Rousey return to WWE, there is another option which is arguably even more exciting – Asuka.

The ‘Empress of Tomorrow’ continued to shine in 2020, winning the Money in the Bank briefcase and becoming the Raw Women’s Champion.

It would be absolutely fascinating to see Asuka’s brutal striking ability up against Rousey’s signature MMA style.

It’s also a match we’ve never seen before which is always a big plus, especially for an occasion as huge as WrestleMania.

Whether Asuka scores the biggest win of her career or Rousey reclaims the gold, it would certainly get the wrestling world talking.

4. Drew McIntyre vs. Brock Lesnar

Drew McIntyre has come a long way since defeating Brock Lesnar to win the WWE Championship last year. The former ‘Chosen One’ has done a great job of leading the company during the pandemic, putting on great bouts with Seth Rollins, Randy Orton and Roman Reigns.

McIntyre’s match with Lesnar did exactly what it needed to do – it made the Scotsman look like a star. But the pair are capable of so much more than their last encounter, and it would be great to see them take things up a gear at ‘Mania 37.

Just imagine McIntyre and Lesnar facing off in a Last Man Standing match, or even going to war in Hell in a Cell.

3. Drew McIntyre vs. “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt

If WWE is saving Lesnar’s return for when arenas can sell out to full capacity once again, the Fiend would be a great opponent for McIntyre.

Despite what seem to be the company’s best efforts to do the opposite, Wyatt still feels like a big deal and fans are excited to see how he will return following his insane Firefly Inferno match against Orton.

Some might say the Fiend doesn’t need to be involved in the title picture – and that is a valid point – but WrestleMania is about making moments.

Seeing McIntyre and Wyatt stare down in the main event of ‘Mania 37 would be epic, and it’s probably the biggest title match Raw can pull off right now.
