Divisional Breakdown: Raw, May 8, 2018

Women

Aside from selfie promos, the women of Raw were only featured once on the three-hour show. It happened in a fun triple threat match between Ruby Riott, Ember Moon, and Sasha Banks. At stake, a spot in the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

Again the action focused on the antics of the Riott Squad, as they attempted to give their leader an underhanded advantage throughout.

Unfortunately for the trio, they pushed a little too hard, causing Bayley to come out to combat them during a beatdown of Banks.

Indeed, this break-up/make-up story is still going on. With the Riott Squad at bay, Ember Moon hit a wonderful double Eclipse to secure her place in the ladder match.

It was nice to see multiple women’s storylines woven throughout the match and Ember winning was the right call. It was the only women’s segment on the show but it was in no way forgettable.
