Following his first title defense on pay-per-view, Hangman Adam Page defended the AEW World Championship against Dante Martin.
The young upstart used his speed and unreal agility to keep the champion on his back foot early on.
This was an all-action sprint that didn’t slow down at all.
There was plenty of back and forth counters from both, including the finish that saw Hangman Page break up a springboard and then connect with the Buckshot Lariat for the win.
Page showed that he could control the pace and be the veteran in a successful title defense.
