Hangman Page has been thriving as AEW World Champion despite a lack of focused attention.
All Elite Wrestling has done an exceptional job with establishing their top prize as one of the most prestigious titles in the industry today.
Part of that is due to the quality of the competitors who have held the title and the quality of the title defenses.
Since winning the AEW World Title from Kenny Omega at Full Gear 2021, Hangman Adam Page has defended the championship on six occasions.
Each defense has been different from the other based on the style of match and the opponent.
With his latest successful defense in the books, here are every AEW World Title defense for Hangman Page ranked.
6. Hangman Page vs. Dante Martin for the AEW World Championship – AEW Dynamite 3/9/22
Following his first title defense on pay-per-view, Hangman Adam Page defended the AEW World Championship against Dante Martin.
The young upstart used his speed and unreal agility to keep the champion on his back foot early on.
This was an all-action sprint that didn’t slow down at all.
There was plenty of back and forth counters from both, including the finish that saw Hangman Page break up a springboard and then connect with the Buckshot Lariat for the win.
Page showed that he could control the pace and be the veteran in a successful title defense.
