If CM Punk does return, him working with FTR at this point just seems like a formality.
Outspokenly Punk’s biggest supporters in AEW during the entire saga, Cash and Dax aligning with Punk to face the Elite is the number one match that should be made if Punk returns to the company.
If that’s not an option, I still expect Punk to align with FTR on-screen, since we all know, may as well just roll with it and potentially give them a huge singles run.
