Injury Update On Eddie Kingston Following Change To AEW Double Or Nothing AEW

Following a major change to AEW Double Or Nothing, a new report has revealed a big injury update on Eddie Kingston.

At NJPW Resurgence 2024, Gabe Kidd defeated Eddie Kingston to win the NJPW STRONG Openweight Championship in a No Rope Last Man Standing Match.

The ending of the bout saw Kidd delivering a suplex to Kingston through a table bridged across the ring to a guardrail with Eddie’s legs slamming over the rail.

Despite suffering an apparent leg injury, Kingston still followed through with the post match angle involving The Elite’s Jack Perry, Matthew and Nicholas Jackson.

According to PWInsider, Eddie Kingston is confirmed to have suffered a tibular fracture to his leg. The injury was confirmed after Kingston underwent a series of x-rays in California following the NJPW Resurgence event.

Kingston is currently waiting for confirmation on how the injury will be dealt with medically at the time of this writing.

The report notes Kingston is hoping to return by AEW All In London in August 2024, but that all depends on when he undergoes surgery.

WrestleTalk would like to wish Eddie Kingston a quick and healthy recovery from his injury.
