The reason that this match is even happening makes it incredibly predictable.

Shayna and Ronda’s Women’s Tag Team Championship reign was cut short at Money In The Bank when Shayna attacked Ronda in a genuinely shocking moment. I can vouch, I was there.

The reported reason behind the turn was due to Ronda Rousey’s WWE contract having a ‘hard out’ date, with her reportedly set to leave the company after SummerSlam.

So, Shayna is winning this match and Ronda will put over her friend on the way out.

The match being MMA Rules will help put Shayna over even stronger, as she will need to either KO Ronda or submit her.

Shayna can go on to pose a threat to Rhea Ripley’s Women’s World Championship coming out of the show.

As for Ronda, it comes at a bad time, as she is producing arguably her best work right now since her 2022 return, and it comes at the reported end of her run.
