In the history of WWE NXT, there might not be anyone who has gone through the evolution that Trick Williams has.

Once known as a sidekick to Carmelo Hayes, Williams is now a former two-time NXT Champion and has held the TNA World Championship as well.

On the November 11 WWE NXT, Williams lost to Ricky Saints in a Last Man Standing Match for the NXT Championship. Following this loss, Trick might finally be ready to make the move up to the main roster.

Here are seven potential Trick Williams WWE main roster plans.

7. Answering Ilja Dragunov’s United States Championship Open Challenge

On the October 17 edition of WWE SmackDown, Ilja Dragunov returned to the company to answer the Sami Zayn United States Championship Open Challenge.

After a gruelling back-and-forth battle, Dragunov dethroned Zayn to win his first singles title on the WWE main roster.

“The Mad Dragon” has since continued the open challenge and accumulated three successful defenses along the way.

With the open challenge ongoing, fans could see Trick Williams answer it and go on to defeat Dragunov to win yet another title after beating him for the NXT Championship in 2024.
