Vegas Predicts: WWE Extreme Rules, Part 1

Kevin’s Best Bet

Kevin’s W/L Record, “Best” Bets: 1-4 (-$312.50)

WWE Money in the Bank Review: My 3 best bets were not kind to me at Money in the Bank. The favorites were 7-3… guess which 3 I had? Natalya had a forgettable performance in the Women’s Money in the Bank match and Alexa Bliss won and held the briefcase for all of 90 minutes. Part of the reason Natalya had gained so much momentum heading into the match was that there were rumors she was going to have Alexa’s exact role and turn heel on Ronda. It was not to be. Next was Shinsuke Nakamura who had every inch of momentum for 36 days, betting wise, heading into the event. AJ inched back 24 hours before, however, I had “locked in” my fake bet on June 7th when Shinsuke was at his best. Shinsuke slid from -150 to -115 minutes before the show started and took the loss. Finally, despite picking up a win with Carmella over Asuka in the parlay, The Miz couldn’t close the deal in the Men’s Money in the Bank making all 3 picks losers. My fake money account is now down $312.50 and we need a very good Extreme Rules showing! Let’s get into it…

Best Bet 1: AJ Styles to defeat Rusev ($200 to win $100)

Best Bet 2: Roman Reigns to defeat Bobby Lashley ($200 to win $100)

Vince McMahon and the creative team kept everyone honest at Money in the Bank. That said, even though the underdogs took 3 losses, they were all on 50/50 lines (between -115 and +110 for Natalya). All the big favorites won. The favorites are 21-4-1 with 1 NC since WrestleMania 34.
