Jeff Hardy vs. Shinsuke Nakamura – United States Championship
There is only one way to recover from being bitten by a police dog, and that’s by beating Jeff Hardy to win the United States Championship.
Surely Nakamura finally has to win a title? His inability to overthrow AJ Styles seriously damaged him, but winning the US title would help rebuild the momentum he lost during his numerous defeats.
Jeff looks to be fighting through at least 45 injuries at the moment, so dropping the belt would allow him to have a bit of rehab to help him move properly. Both Jeff and his brother Matt seem to be suffering from what I like to call “wrestled too much and is too injured syndrome,” as their movement around the ring is becoming increasingly painful to watch.
But yes, Nakamura needs the championship a lot more than Hardy does, particularly as he’ll be able to use it to bludgeon any chihuahuas that come running at him.

Roman Reigns vs. Bobby Lashley
I just realized how long this card is. No wonder nobody gets any time.
In a battle of the two big guys on Raw that are struggling to get over due to their booking, Roman Reigns will take on Bobby Lashley to see who can get the smallest reaction from the crowd.
Although the build-up to this feud has been fine, it’s pretty difficult to care about it given that only two months ago we were crying in reaction to how awfully Bobby was being booked.
It’s about time someone got into the skulls of the WWE writers and told them that Roman doesn’t have to be in the main event feud of Raw all the time. Everyone, including Roman, would benefit if he took a more minor role for a few months.
Picking a winner is difficult because, on the one hand, you’ve got giant, sweaty Bobby Lashley, with his giant, sweaty pecs, and his giant, sweaty head. On the other hand, you have Roman Reigns and only Brock Lesnar and the Revival can beat him.
I’m going to go out on a limb and go for Lashley, just because he broke the master lock 10 years ago and that was fun.
