7 AEW Stars To Sign With WWE AEW/WWE

For a long while, particularly during the darkest days of the old WWE creative regime – AEW was undoubtedly THE place to be for many talent.

Between 2019 and 2022 it was certainly AEW that had the momentum, with less appreciated WWE stars seeking pastures anew and Tony Khan swooping on most as soon as they became available.

While some of the WWE to AEW moves have went on to great success, some have faded into obscurity and with WWE now riding high under the creative stewardship of Triple H it’s easy to see why many would perhaps want to return.

But this isn’t exclusive to just ex-WWE talent, with some AEW homegrown stars likely having their head turned following the success of AEW to WWE moves thus far such as Lexis King, Jade Cargill and obviously former AEW EVP Cody Rhodes.

So, we’ve decided to pick out seven of what we feel are the most likely AEW stars to move to WWE. Starting with…

7. Miro

AEW star Miro

An absolute lock if there ever was one, Miro’s AEW career has been, for the most part a major letdown from a fan’s perspective.

Aside from his run as TNT Champion – which was excellent, Miro has been nothing more than a background player in the company.

His large spells away from the ring – particularly his near year-long absence between September 2022 – and June 2023.

Miro’s current ongoing absence is reportedly due to injury which is obviously unavoidable, but even before that it’s hard to say he was up to anything overly important on AEW TV.

With some reports of the Bulgarian refusing creative plans in the past, perhaps there is more to Miro’s curious misuse than meets the eye. Whatever the case, it’s hard to imagine a return to WWE not coming once his AEW deal eventually expires.
