Switching gears to a man on the much larger end of the spectrum, Ivar has flourished in his partner Erik’s injury absence, proving himself a viable contender for singles gold on Raw.
While his efforts have thus far seen him remain empty handed, perhaps Speed can change that?
Although the concept seems tailor-made for smaller, fast individuals there’s certainly a strong argument that it even better suits the super heavyweights.
Talent such as Ivar, unlike your Ricochets and JD McDonagh’s have the potential to end matches in a blink, so it’d be nice to see some of them put that to use in the Speed Title tournament. And if he’s in it, you must expect Ivar to be a favorite.
