Additional WWE Names In Detroit For SummerSlam Revealed WWE

Some additional names that are in Detroit ahead of tonight’s SummerSlam event have been revealed.

Alongside the names set for the show, several additional names had previously been reported as being in Detroit, which included Randy Orton and Bobby Roode.

Roode worked as a producer for last night’s SmackDown show, and is set to continue in that role for SummerSlam and Raw.

Per Fightful Select (subscription required), several additional names in town for the show include Titus O’Neil, who has been appearing backstage at more events in recent weeks.

Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley is not scheduled to compete on the show, but she was in town for the C4 Energy event and will likely feature during Finn Balor and Seth Rollins’ World Heavyweight Championship match.

Along with Rhea, Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio have also been brought in for the show, as have Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, who were at Comerica Park for a Detroit Tigers game last night.

Other names in Detroit for the show are Big E, Maxxine Dupri, Chelsea Green, Omos and Baron Corbin.

Tommaso Ciampa, Chad Gable and Otis are also in town, and are set to be a part of the SummerSlam Battle Royal, though they did not feature on the graphic for the match on last night’s SmackDown.

As far as names not brought into Detroit for the show, Johnny Gargano, Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell were not brought to Detroit as of Friday.

Becky Lynch is also not in Detroit following her planned match with Trish Stratus being removed from the show.

Becky has fired a shot at the company for leaving her off the show, which you can see here.
