Ever since AEW debuted on TNT earlier this month, it has been going head-to-head with NXT on the USA Network.
However, tonight a special episode of AEW: Dynamite will be shown at the same time as WWE Friday Night Smackdown.
The ending to this week’s episode of AEW: Dynamite was reportedly botched.
The match between PAC and Jon Moxley was supposed to be halted by Kenny Omega, but “The Cleaner” didn’t make it down to the ring in time.
However, the new promotion still shot the angle that they wanted to be broadcast live on TNT. This exclusive footage will be part of a special AEW show tonight on TNT.

Hangman Page also made his way down to the ring after the show went off the air to challenge PAC to a match at Full Gear. This will also be part of the broadcast tonight.
WWE will likely be far from happy at this news. Smackdown was already set for a drop in viewership as it is being shown on FS1 instead of FOX due to the World Series.
It will be interesting to see how many people tune in to the special AEW show instead of Friday Night Smackdown. Stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com for the ratings for both of these shows.
