AEW Announces Sting Segment & Big Matches For Dynamite Next Week

Following his shock debut on last night’s ‘Winter is Coming’ episode of Dynamite, it has been confirmed that WWE Hall of Famer Sting is going to be interviewed by Tony Schiavone on next week’s show.

However, this isn’t the only thing that AEW has announced, as coming off the back of a blockbuster show last night, the promotion announced several big matches for the December 9 show next week.

The Young Bucks will be going head-to-head With TH2 on Dynamite next week. The match isn’t for the Tag Team Championship, but Young Bucks said Evans and Angelico would earn a match if they beat them next week.

Also booked for the show is FTR in their first match after losing the AEW World Tag Team Championships to The Young Bucks at Full Gear. Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood will wrestle Griff Garrison and Brian Pillman Jr (Varsity Blondes).

The promotion also announced that Lance Archer will team with The Lucha Brothers to take on Eddie Kingston, The Butcher and The Blade in what has the makings of an incredibly chaotic six-man tag team match.

After being the final two men in the Dynamite Diamond Battle Royale last night, Inner Circle member MJF and Orange Cassidy will go one-on-one for the ring on next week’s show. After this, Inner Circle will have an in-ring segment.

After getting badly injured in a match with Tay Conti several weeks ago, it has been confirmed that Abadon will be back in action on Dynamite next week, although we do not know her opponent at this stage.

While this hasn’t been confirmed by AEW yet, Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Kenny Omega is going to have an interview segment on the show, possibly also with Don Callis. He will be on IMPACT TV the day before.
