Current AEW Champion Believes ‘No-One Can Top’ Jade Cargill’s Star Power

Former AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill has already been making headlines during her time in WWE, despite not actually having stepped into the ring yet.

Jade has appeared on Raw, SmackDown and NXT over the past month, teasing matches against multiple top stars, including Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch and NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria.

Jade’s signing was announced via ESPN, with WWE presenting her as a major deal ahead of her debut, and one of Cargill’s former rival’s understands exactly why.

Speaking to Ring the Belle, AEW TBS Champion Kris Statlander spoke about Cargill, saying that she believes ‘no-one’ can top her star power.

She said:

“No one will be able to top her with that, I commend her so much. She always brought such a star power to everything that she did not just her big pay-per-view matches or her big title defenses but even just her backstage promos and stuff. You can’t not acknowledge that she is a star, she is.”

Statlander defeated Jade Cargill on the September 15 episode of Rampage, which was Cargill’s last in AEW.
