Christian Cage Responds To AEW Worlds End Challenge

Christian Cage Responds To AEW Worlds End Challenge AEW

Christian Cage responded to Adam Copeland issuing a big stipulation challenge for a pay-per-view match on tonight’s AEW Dynamite.

Well, sort of.

While Christian Cage did not appear live, he instead issued a ‘prepared statement’ to be read by Tony Schiavone.

With Schiavone delivering the message, reading from the note on the entrance ramp he reported that he was instructed to read the words verbatim.

You can check out the segment below but the gist is that Cage’s response is to wait for his response.

Christian Cage reports that he will make his ‘triumphant return’ on this Saturday’s episode of Collision, December 22.

He will address Adam Copeland’s challenge for AEW’s upcoming pay-per-view Worlds End at that time.

After Copeland was screwed in Montreal after a big interference secured the TNT Championship win for Christian Cage, he wants a re-match.

Having challenged Christian Cage to a ‘No Disqualifications’ match at AEW Worlds End, now fans will continue to wait for Cage’s response until Collision.

Signing off the message as ‘the Patriarch of AEW’, Schiavone was done reading the statement and Cage’s music hit as the crowd provided the appropriate boos to the cameras.

Elsewhere on tonight’s AEW Dynamite, AEW has confirmed that a top star is out of action ‘indefinitely’.
