AEW Confirms Top Star Out Of Action ‘Indefinitely’ AEW

On tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, fans that may have not been aware were informed that Kenny Omega was out of AEW ‘indefinitely’.

Chris Jericho appeared to not only share well wishes to top star Kenny Omega but also share with fans more details.

Jericho confirmed Kenny Omega’s diagnosis of Diverticulitis as well as noted that Omega would be out of action ‘indefinitely’.

Allowing a moment for the crowd to acknowledge Kenny by chanting his name, Jericho also informed that the plans for the Golden Jets were on hold.

The pair were set for an AEW Tag Team Championship match at the upcoming pay-per-view, AEW Worlds End against champs Ricky Starks and Big Bill.

No replacement match for Worlds End was announced for the champions.

Also sharing his well wishes on social media after the segment, AEW CEO Tony Khan responded to the announcement.

Khan wrote on Twitter:

“Get well soon @KennyOmegamanX!

“As @IAmJericho said perfectly moments ago on #AEWDynamite, all of AEW and legions of fans all over the planet want Kenny Omega to get well soon!”
