AEW Collision Stars Make Surprise Dynamite Appearance AEW

AEW Collision stars have made surprise appearances on tonight’s AEW Dynamite episode (August 16) ahead of AEW All In.

Ahead of a tag team match featuring the Acclaimed, the lights went out on AEW Dynamite and when they came back on, the House of Black had appeared.

Since the beginning of AEW Collision, House of Black has remained a Saturday attraction only, but they popped up tonight to beat down the Acclaimed and take the boots that were left behind by Billy Gunn upon his apparent retirement.

Malakai Black had said on Bobby Fish’s podcast recently that he’d requested for the House of Black to be on Collision only, but that streak came to an end tonight.

House of Black weren’t the only AEW Collision regulars that were on Dynamite tonight as FTR was on Wednesday again this week.

FTR haven’t been Collision-exclusive in the same way that the House of Black have, but they’ve become synonymous with Saturday nights nonetheless.

After the Young Bucks beat the Gunns in their main event match on Dynamite, the rest of Bullet Club Gold – Jay White and Juice Robinson – attacked the Bucks.

When Jay White and Juice Robinson had Matt Jackson’s injured arm in a vulnerable position in a steel chair, instead FTR’s music hit.

With the AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR sneaking up from behind rather than out of the ramp to an awaiting Juice Robinson, the pair cleaned house, assisting their future opponents for AEW All In.

FTR teased attacking the Bucks from behind, but instead just held their titles up while face-to-face.

This whole segment played into two separate All In matches, those being FTR vs the Young Bucks, and White, Robinson and Konosuke Takeshita vs the Bucks’ partners in the Golden Elite, Kenny Omega, Hangman Page, and Kota Ibushi.

Elsewhere on tonight’s AEW Dynamite, Chris Jericho’s All In opponent was confirmed after he revealed his decision about joining the Don Callis Family.

Also announced, a six-on-six Stadium Stampede match with Orange Cassidy, Best Friends, the Lucha Bros and Eddie Kingston teaming up against the Blackpool Combat Club’s Claudio Castagnoli, Jon Moxley and Wheeler Yuta plus three mystery partners for the BCC.
