AEW has confirmed the signings of Fuego Del Sol and Jamie Hayter, following the August 13 premiere episode of Rampage.
On last night’s show, Fuego Del Sol wrestled Miro with the TNT Championship, and a potential AEW contract for Fuego, on the line. Although Del Sol was unsuccessful, Sammy Guevara revealed that the luchador had still earned himself a spot on the roster.

AEW President Tony Khan has revealed that Fuego Del Sol was legitimately surprised when Guevara gave him the contract, as that segment was a “complete shoot“.
In the main event of the episode, Britt Baker forced Red Velvet to submit, retaining the AEW Women’s Championship. After the bout, Jamie Hayter returned to AEW, aligning herself with Baker.
