AEW World Champion MJF has explained how Brody King cheated during their match on this week’s Dynamite show.

The main event of this week’s AEW Dynamite saw AEW World Champion MJF face off against Brody King in a championship eliminator match.

King ended up scoring the win in quick fashion over the champion, earning him a match for the title at AEW Grand Slam Australia.

Speaking on You Better You Bet, MJF discussed the match, explaining why Brody King cheated during the match.

He said:

“Flukes happen, they happen all the time in sports. The man, not only did he get lucky, but if we’re being honest Brody King cheated, and allow me to explain why.

“There’s a crooked Cowboy named ‘Hangman’ Adam Page. The bell rings, I’m about to annihilate Brody King. If you know me, you know that guy didn’t stand a chance. He’s a chihuahua compared to me, I’m a pitbull.

“Then Hangman Adam Page comes out, I get distracted, and Brody King like the gutless coward that he is, he takes advantage of the situation, absolutely unreal.

“Here’s what I can assure you; Hangman Adam Page is gonna have his hands full at Grand Slam Australia because he has to face Andrade El Idolo, who I also hate to be honest, who beat Kenny Omega, beat Swerve Strickland.

“So he has his hands full that night, he’s not gonna be able to interrupt my main event match up, and with Brody King not being able to have my eye taken off the ball, there’s no reality where he leaves Grand Slam Australia with my coveted AEW World Championship.”
