AEW
An AEW name has revealed when his contract expires.
At the start of All Elite Wrestling, the company signed Jim Ross to be one of the company’s main commentators.
Since then, JR has been one of the voices of the promotion with calls on AEW Dynamite, Rampage, Collision and major shows.
On the latest edition of the Grilling JR podcast, Jim Ross revealed that his current deal with AEW expires on February 14. When co-host Conrad Thompson joked that Vince McMahon was calling, Ross said:
“I can’t come til the 14th.”
Thompson replied, “Is that the date when your contracts up? Valentine’s Day?” Ross said, “yeah.”
On hoping to renew his contract with All Elite Wrestling, JR said:
“I’d like to finish up in AEW. I gotta be realistic about things, Connie. We talk about these birthdays and I’m the same age as [Nick] Saban and [Bill] Belichick and all these cats. I love working with [AEW].”
Jim Ross previously revealed that Tony Khan has agreed to him calling Sting’s retirement match at AEW Revolution.
