AEW associate OWE (Oriental Wrestling Entertainment) are selling Tye Dillinger shirts on their website, leading to speculation that he could be signing with the promotion.
Dillinger, now going by the ring name Shawn Spears was released from WWE on February 22, and there has been little in terms of news regarding his next steps.
The fact that OWE are selling Shawn Spears shirts would seem to suggest that he has some kind of partnership with the promotion, and will of course lead many to believe that OWE or AEW are his next destination.
AEW announced their partnership with the Chinese promotion at their Double or Nothing rally at the beginning on January, and a match between OWE and SoCal Uncensored is planned for their Double or Nothing show in May.
