An AEW name has revealed that they “always looked out” for PowerHouse Hobbs in a shared text message dated 2020.
The current AEW TNT Champion made his AEW debut in July 2020 on an episode of AEW Dark.
He would take part in the Casino Battle Royale at AEW All Out in September 2020, with Tony Khan offering him an AEW contract shortly thereafter.
Over the coming months, he would align himself with Team Taz and become a standout performer for the company.
Now, QT Marshall has shared the text message that he sent to Will Hobbs prior to his first AEW appearance.
In the text message dated June 6, Marshall asks if Hobbs is local to Jacksonville.
Hobbs replies by saying that he isn’t local but will definitely find a way to get to Jacksonville.

Hobbs became AEW TNT Champion on the March 8 episode of AEW Dynamite in a Falls Count Anywhere match against Wardlow.
The victory would come with assistance from a returning QT Marshall, which also solved the QTV puzzle.
The belt that was used for this match was a replacement TNT Championship title as the original article was among the items stolen from Wardlow’s rental car.
