The viewership figures for the August 27 edition of AEW Rampage, the third show in the brand’s history, have been revealed.
As per Showbuzz Daily, last week’s episode of Rampage drew an average of 722,000 viewers. This is down compared to the 1.129 million viewers who tuned in for the August 20 show.
In the 18-49 demographic, last Friday’s episode received a 0.34 rating, a decrease from the 0.53 rating drawn the previous week.
It is worth noting that the August 20 show featured CM Punk’s AEW debut. Punk has admitted that he and Tony Khan designed his signing to be the “worst kept secret“.
The August 27 show was the first episode of Rampage to be pre-taped. During the episode, the Lucha Brothers defeated the Jurassic Express. The Lucha Brothers will now challenge the Young Bucks for the AEW Tag Team Championship at All Out on Sunday.
Also on the show, Miro attacked Fuego Del Sol until Eddie Kingston made the save. Miro and Kingston will face off at All Out for the TNT Title.
