AEW/ROH star Anthony Henry has commented on his wrestling future, ahead of his return from injury and AEW comeback.
Henry is currently out of action after suffering a broken jaw in March.
While he was released from his AEW contract in early April, Tony Khan noted in the ROH Supercard of Honor media call that he had come to an agreement with Henry, and Henry will be back in AEW and ROH after he has healed up from his injury.
Anthony Henry has now taken to Twitter to note that there’s “much more” to the story of his return.
Hinting that he will “soon” be making his return, he wrote:
There is much more to the story of my return to AEW than most know or will probably ever know. I just know one thing. I am excited to be back in that locker room soon! #Family
Ahead of his initial release, Henry had worked with AEW since 2021 after he was released from his WWE contract.
Henry last wrestled under the AEW/ROH banner at the March 7 ROH taping, teaming with his WorkHorsemen tag partner JD Drake to defeat Jacoby Watts & Nick Comoroto. His most recent AEW match took place at the January 17 Rampage taping, against Penta El Zero M.
