AEW’s Ricky Starks has clarified his injury status following recent reports of him being in Jacksonville, Florida last week.
It was reported earlier today that Starks had been in Jacksonville last week, where he was checked out by the AEW medical team.
Starks has not competed since the March 30 episode of Collision, where he and Big Bill were defeated in the AEW World Tag Team Championship tournament by Top Flight in a match that saw the finish change due to Starks seemingly suffering an injury.
Reacting to the reports of him being present in Jacksonville and being checked up on by the AEW medical team, Starks revealed that he was there for his annual physical, and clarified that he is not and never was injured.
He wrote:
Yeah because everyone had to do their annual physical.
To ease anyone’s mind, I’m not injured. Never was. Pick another narrative pleaseeeee
Starks’ partner Big Bill is seemingly set to join up with Chris Jericho and the Learning Tree during Starks’ absence from television.
To ease anyone’s mind, I’m not injured. Never was. Pick another narrative pleaseeeee
