AEW’s Saraya has shared a photo of her doctor’s note confirming that she’s cleared to wrestle following the November 9 edition of Dynamite.
On the show, Saraya revealed to Britt Baker that she is 100% cleared for action, before dropping Baker with what used to be called the Ram-Paige.
Paige last wrestled in December 2017 and announced her retirement from the ring in April 2018 due to a serious neck injury.
Saraya has now taken to social media to comment on her Dynamite announcement. Happy that she’s now officially a competitor again, the former ‘Paige’ tweeted:
“Never thought I would see this day again. Thank you all. Im a wrestler “
Saraya then shared a photo of a note from Orthopedic Surgeon Robert Watkins Jr confirming that she has been given the go-ahead to wrestle with no restrictions.
Addressing fans who were skeptical of the authenticity of the note, Saraya clarified that the document she shared was one she asked for, and that the doctor had actually shared a 6 page dictation with her analysing her condition.
Saraya tweeted:
“Omg. The address. Number. Name of dr is on there. I ASKED for that note. So I can frame it and post it and he was kind of enough to do it. The 6 page dictation he wrote with a full break down, analysis and conclusion was awesome I just wanted to see that ONE sentence. For me. 🤫”
The popular star will return to the ring at the AEW Full Gear to face Britt Baker in singles action.
