Another AEW talent signing has now officially been confirmed, courtesy of a new report.
Despite featuring on AEW TV since late 2022, the official contract status of former ROH Television Champion Shane Taylor has been not so clear.
The 38-year-old star had reportedly been previously working without a contract in the company, however, now there has been confirmation that this is in fact no longer the case.
As reported by Fightful Select, Taylor is in fact now officially All Elite, having actually signed an exclusive contract with the company at some point in 2023.
While it’s not clear exactly when Taylor inked his AEW deal, what was revealed is when we can expect his contract to run out.
According to the report, Taylor’s deal is expected to be up in July 2024.
While that isn’t too far away, it seems as if the company may have big plans for Taylor and his faction Shane Taylor Promotions soon.
The report notes that there has been talk of growing the faction’s ranks and adding some new members alongside Taylor and Lee Moriarty.
It’s not yet known who is being considered to join the group, but we will post updates if/when more information becomes available.
