Last night saw the debut of the Shane McMahon invention ‘Raw Underground‘, and it didn’t take long for an AEW star to pass comment.
If you’ve somehow missed it, Raw Underground is basically an underground fight club where anything goes and matches are worked shoot-style fights, similar to GCW Bloodsport.
Matt Hardy of AEW took to Twitter upon seeing it, and wrote:
Pretty excited for the Fight Club spoof that’ll happen on #BTE.
One of the reasons Being the Elite is so popular is because of its inside jokes, references and spoofs, so something along those lines is definitely something to look out for.
Raw Underground has drawn mixed reviews thus far, and many believe it won’t be long before WWE drops the idea completely as it is prone to do when things don’t get over instantly.
