An update has emerged on AEW star Parker Boudreaux, who hasn’t wrestled on AEW TV in almost a year.
The former WWE name last wrestled during the March 3, 2023 Rampage taping, teaming with Swerve Strickland in a losing effort against Keith Lee and Dustin Rhodes.
With Boudreaux being an original member of the Mogul Affiliates, his status has been unclear during his absence, during which Parker had been recovering from an injury.
Per Fightful Select, Boudreaux recently made his backstage return, visiting friends and co-workers at the AEW Dynamite Homecoming taping on January 10 in Jacksonville, Florida.
Fightful noted that despite his visit, they haven’t heard of any ‘imminent creative plans’ for Boudreaux.
The report also stated that that internal AEW sources spoken to don’t consider Boudreaux part of Mogul Embassy group anymore.
This confirms that Boudreaux has been removed from the faction, following his affiliation to the group being removed from his AEW roster listing.
The name of the group was changed when Parker Boudreaux and Trench (who has since left the company) were off TV and replaced by Brian Cage and the Gates of Agony.
Boudreaux joined AEW in August 2022, following appearances on AEW Dark and Dark Elevation.
Prior to this, Boudreaux had spent some time in WWE NXT, signing a developmental deal in 2021 and working for WWE up until his release in April 2022.
In NXT, he was named Harland and paired with Joe Gacy.
