Before Bray Wyatt appeared on our screens as the equally gripping and frightening character The Fiend, he was the leader of the Wyatt Family.
The group, consisting of Bray Wyatt, Erick Rowan and Luke Harper, debuted on the main roster in 2013. Braun Strowman was added to the mix in 2015.
However, current AEW star Luchasaurus, formerly of NXT, has revealed that Bray Wyatt also wanted to add him to the faction while he was still signed to Vince McMahon’s company.
Speaking to fellow AEW star Chris Jericho on the Talk is Jericho podcast, Luchasaurus had the following to say about Wyatt wanted him to join the family.
“I remember Bray Wyatt said, ‘I love this name man, this is cool’ and he wanted me to get into his group when he first started it, but they had already solidified what they wanted in there, but it was perfect for his kinda thing.”
Luchasaurus left WWE in 2014 and has gone on to sign with All Elite Wrestling, a company that has given him the platform to showcase just how captivating he can be.
