A current AEW star is set to miss tonight’s episode of Dynamite in Edmonton, Alberta due to a recent surgery on his knee.
Last week, Taz took to Twitter where he noted that he needs to get his shoulders and knees replaced.
Taking to Twitter today, Taz provided an update, noting that he is unable to fly and travel to tonight’s show due to the treatment he got on his knee.
He wrote:
Unfortunately, I will not be at Dynamite tonight. Been getting some treatment on my knee & procedure on opposite knee this week. Flying/travel just not possible, I’ll be back next week. Tonight show will be awesome! Make sure you watch LIVE tonight! #AEWDynamite@TBSNetwork @AEW
AEW has not yet announced a replacement for Taz at the commentary desk for tonight’s show.
Tonight’s show will also see Adam Copeland defend his TNT Championship against the House of Black’s Brody King, as well as EVP Kenny Omega making an ‘important announcement’ following his attack on last week’s show.
