AEW Stars Mentioned During WWE Clash At The Castle

AEW stars Bryan Danielson and Claudio Castagnoli were mentioned on commentary during WWE Clash At The Castle.

During Roman Reigns’ entrance ahead of his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship bout against McIntyre, Michael Cole listed the stars that Reigns has defeated during his historic two year reign.

Besides stars like Brock Lesnar and John Cena, Cole also mentioned former WWE stars Daniel Bryan and Cesaro.

Both men now work for All Elite Wrestling and a part of the Blackpool Combat Club as Bryan Danielson and Claudio Castagnoli.

In the aforementioned Clash At The Castle main event, Roman Reigns defeated Drew McIntyre to retain the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship thanks to outside interference from the debuting Solo Sikoa.

Danielson and Castagnoli will both compete on the AEW All Out card on Sunday. Bryan Danielson will face Chris Jericho, while Claudio Castagnoli will take part in the Casino Ladder Match.
