AEW is reportedly discussing some major stipulations for the eventual big rematch between Britt Baker and Thunder Rosa.
As per the Wrestling Observer, the match is still planned to take place in early 2022, and there have been talks about adding a major stipulation to make it the biggest women’s match in AEW history.
Among those ideas that have been discussed, according to the Observer, are “everything from a cage match to a hair match”.
Considering AEW has done a couple of cage matches recently, and the standard set by the Young Bucks vs Lucha Brothers was so high, it would perhaps be a good decision to not go for a cage match.
That doesn’t necessarily mean it will be a hair match because there are bound to have been other ideas discussed too, those are just the two that the Observer specifically mentioned.
After retaining over Kris Statlander at All Out, Britt Baker will next defend the AEW Women’s World Title against Ruby Soho, who won the Casino Battle Royale.
