Unfortunate Injury Update On Top AEW Star AEW

An unfortunate update regarding Adam Cole was revealed on tonight’s AEW Dynamite but nevertheless he vows to return as soon as possible.

Accompanying AEW World Champion MJF in front of an excited Chicago live crowd, Adam Cole appeared again, on crutches.

As he was seated in the ring for the segment, he still managed to captivate the crowd for ‘Storytime with Adam Cole, Bay Bay’.

Sadly for all the Bay Bay fans, the story time included an unfortunate injury update regarding when we might see him back in the ring.

Despite volunteering himself as tribute for MJF at AEW Full Gear this past Saturday, Cole confirmed that he was not actually cleared to compete.

Not only that, he wasn’t even cleared to be walking on his ankle yet after having had a complex surgery (hence the crutches) and didn’t have any specifics regarding when he would be able to be back in the ring or, supporting his bestie MJF.

The segment would veer into an entirely different topic with the arrival of Samoa Joe with Cole encouraging the champ to keep his word and grant Joe a title shot after he helped them to retain their ROH tag titles at Full Gear against The Gunns.

MJF and Samoa Joe would go on to be confirmed for an AEW World Championship match at AEW Worlds End in Long Island, NY on December 30, 2023.
